Job Description
This is not your typical NOC Engineer role. If you are looking for a job where you reset passwords and create tickets all day this IS NOT the role for you. Our NOC Engineer’s are involved in PC support, Server and Network Administration, as well as level 1, 2, and 3 support.
Spade Technology is an eight year old IT consulting company based out of Mansfield, Massachusetts. We provide full IT support to small to medium sized organization throughout New England and beyond through our SupportWerks Premium Managed Services. Each client site is monitored and managed via our integrated managed services system hosted in our state-of-the-art hosting facility. Our NOC Engineers are responsible for the monitoring and management off all PC’s, servers and networks at our client sites as well as being the front line for IT support related questions from our customers.
We are looking for individuals that have a strong desire to learn as well as outstanding customer service skills. We put great focus on training (both on the job and classroom\web) as well as earning new certifications. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
• Expertise in Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
• Industry Certifications
• Advanced Network administration and trouble shooting skills
• Experience with common business desktop applications (QuickBooks, Visio, Project, Adobe)
• Expertise in IT security including firewall\VPN concepts as well as VPN client installation
• Experience with MS Exchange Administration and trouble shooting
• Experience with SQL administration and maintenance
• Experience with Kaseya, ConnectWise or Zenith InfoTech’s BDR solution is a big plus.
